“ I would like to comment that when I approached the table where I recognized Brian from the meet-up group, he was wonderful and welcoming as always, but the rest of the table was very unfriendly. I have sometimes found this group hard to break the ice with. The whole point of going somewhere with a meet-up group is so that you don't feel like your there by yourself and you can mingle and meet new people, but that's impossible when the group is split up into "clicks" and they don't make it easy for you to join in as a new person. You might want to put a reminder on the site that people should make more of an effort to be welcoming to new people who are trying to get to know others in the group. Since the table was so unfriendly when I approached them at Cafe Intermezzo, I did not even bother to look for them when I went to the other locations. ”
