The acclaimed Chocolate Buffet at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta has returned by popular demand, and now it promises to be more decadent than ever.
For six delicious Fridays this February and March, Executive Chef Robert Gerstenecker of Park 75 Restaurant is inviting a local celebrity to join him in the kitchen and add a dish to the Chocolate Buffet. In addition to contributing their own chocolate recipe for everyone to enjoy, each celebrity will share their personal story behind each treat.
“I look forward to this event every year,” said Mychael Knight, fashion designer and finalist on Bravo’s Project Runway in Season 3, who will participate in Chocolate Buffet. “Chocolate is like fashion—everyone has their favourite kind, and good chocolate never goes out of style.”
The 2010 line-up of chocolate celebrities also includes: Frank Ski, on-air personality and host of the top rated Frank & Wanda in the Morning Show and Chairman of the Frank Ski Kids Foundation; John McFall, the Artistic Director for The Atlanta Ballet Company; Xernona Clayton, President and CEO of the Trumpet Awards Foundation, which annually recognizes achievement among African Americans and contributes to charitable and educational causes; David York, executive director of Fulton County Animal Services and owner of Barking Hound Village, a grooming, boarding and training facility for dogs; and more.
The annual all-you-can-eat Chocolate Buffet is a guilty pleasure destination for Atlanta locals and visitors alike. Some of the treats planned by Chef Gerstenecker this year include Chocolate Coffee Toffee Brownie, Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cake and Chocolate Mousse Parfait, among many other surprises.
