The Atlanta Brewing Company (map)
Here we go again!!! Don't sit in traffic, join me in my neighborhood........
For all you beer enthusiasts, and those that want to learn about the beer brewing process......
Join me and other members of Sky's The Limit for a brewery tour and tasting!
This time we will be meeting at the Atlanta Brewing Company for their tour and tasting from 6-8pm.
Once again, tastes are absolutely FREE.....but if you purchase their $8.00 take home souvenir glass, you get a heftier 'taste'. Be sure to mention that you want to purchase a glass, so you do not get stuck with the FREE small plastic cup!!
The brewery tour, which is led by Red Brick's knowledgeable staff, is highly informative and educational. Their new tasting room is built for comfort, with a state of the art pouring system, plenty of seating and a big screen television.
More info on ABC Brewery
Founded in 1993, the award-winning Atlanta Brewing Company (ABC) is the oldest operational craft brewery in the state of Georgia. In late 2005 new ownership and management was welcomed to the brewery: Robert Budd, serving as President, and Dave Weil - Director of Operations, joined longtime ABC Brewmaster Dave McClure.
Red Brick Ale was the first beer brewed by ABC and remains its flagship brand; it is available year round, as are Peachtree Pale Ale and Red Brick Blonde. In 2005, Concentrics Hospitality asked ABC to collaborate with Chef Todd Rushing on a signature beer for their renowned Atlanta restaurants. The result was Numbers Ale, which promptly won a Best of Atlanta award from local weekly paper Creative Loafing. ABC currently offers a traditional, German-style Hefeweizen in the summer months, and a double-chocolate, Oatmeal Porter in the winter.
Atlanta Brewing Company is located at 2323 DeFoor Hills Road, N.W. Atlanta, GA 30318.
