Hello Around the World Enthusiasts!

If you've ever seen the epic 1956 film, then you know how the story goes: two Englishman are dared by their gentleman's club that they can't journey Around the World in 80 Days and be back by 8:45pm on the last day. Amused by the challenge, they take the bet and decide to travel in the most extraordinary way--via HOT AIR BALLOON! The trip is a brilliant success--AND--a once in a lifetime experience, as they hopscotch all over the globe, engaging in wild adventures they never thought imaginable!

What wild adventures will be stumble upon? Let's take our own fantasic journey, exploring tastes, sights and sounds as never before...and be back by the same tick-tock of the clock!

At 1pm, we'll first meet & greet at Joli Kobe Bakery & Bistro, an out-of-this-world French/Japanese eatery in Sandy Springs. If it sounds a bit unusual, good, that's the point! The large array of mouth-watering breads, sandwiches & desserts to select from will send your taste buds soaring! Prices range from .95 to $26 bucks, with many sandwiches at $5 and up, so be assured, there is something for everyone here!

At 2pm sharp, we will depart from the bistro and head over to Cumming, where we will join up with our hot air balloon capitan (location TBD), jump into his "chauffered" bus to a vast field--and begin our overhead journey! At 3pm, we are scheduled to be lifted to an elevation of 3,000-5,000 ft or higher for approx. 60-90 minutes (depending on weather and weight conditions.) As we sail through the air, over land and lake, you will get more than a bird's eye-view! This will probably be the most exhilarating trip you'll ever take, because you are completely open and vulnerable to the sky! It is also extremely safe and sound, (safer than planes, trains or automobiles), so all levels of air-bourners welcome!

The balloon ride portion of the day will be from 3-6pm (allotting for instruction, set-up and break-down.)

At 6pm, we will share our experience at Gasthaus restaurant for some apps, dinner and/or drinks to celebrate our journey--as well as the last day of Octoberfest! Can anyone say, "Weiner Schnitzel, Wurstsalat & Warsteiner lager?"

Important Things to Note:[/b]
What to wear: Comfy, casual attire suitable for cool weather, a light jacket.
What to bring: Please travel light--no duffel bags or big personal items (as to not affect the weight of the balloon.) Please bring cash to tip our balloon pilot. I recommend $2-3 per person, but it's up to you.
Carpooling: Encouraged. I will have room for 2-3 people for anyone in the Smyrna/Vinings/Marietta area. Please volunteer if you can carpool too.
Cost: A Sky's the Limit Exclusive Deal -- only $140!!(Typical cost is nearly double!)
Sign up: Please keep in mind that the balloon only holds 20 people, so this trip will fill up fast! Please secure your spot with your payment asap. There will be a deadline announced. There will also be a waiting list, so please sign up even if you see that the list if full. You never know if someone has to drop out at the last-minute and needs to sell their spot. As usual, STL will not be able to give refunds, so be sure you can commit to attending upon making your payment.
Weather: Hot Air Balloons can only travel if weather conditions permit, as safety is of first concern. Early October is an excellent time of year to travel via balloon, however, should we need to cancel due to heavy rain or storm, you will be notified immediately and there will be a make-up date (TBD.)
