JT, hello! It was great to meet you tonight at the free movie. The hostel in the Forest sounds awesome. You should post a comment with link about it on the comments section of Marie's Meetup. It turns out I am not going, after all. I'm disappointed, but I have my first trip to NYC coming up the following weekend (a 4-day trip) and I think adding the coastal kayak trip is just too much to pack in to a 2-week period. I hope you'll take some nice pictures and post them on our website afterward.
