The ADVENTURE TOUR begins “low and slow,” but you’ll soon find yourself zipping at greater heights and speeds through the lush canopy. Enjoy a birds-eye view of the North Oconee River, ravines, ponds, pastures, and wildlife. Soar through the air attached to a steel cable—which will soon disappear from your consciousness.
This 3+ hour Tour includes twelve ziplines (over one mile of cable), two sky bridges, three nature walks, the fastest zips on the course, zips over three ponds, two zips over the North Oconee River, and a rappel. The Adventure Tour concludes with a thrilling finale - a 680-foot dual zip over the Hilltop Pond in front of the Tour Observation Deck.
We welcome kids 10 years of age or older and weighing a minimum of 70 pounds. Don’t worry if you never did it before, you will receive a complete orientation and training session before your guides lead you through the course. The training session includes a short zip a few feet off the ground, so you will know what it feels like before you start zipping the course. Approximate weight range for all participants is between 70 to 250 pounds. Please call if you have any questions regarding weight limits. Each participant must be physically able to control the speed of their travel along the zip lines by touching the cable with leather gloves provided and resting their hands above their heads on the trolley. Participants must also be able pull themselves along the zip cable a few feet in the event they lose momentum before reaching any given landing platform.
You will need to wear closed-toe shoes suitable for walking in the forest (such as tennis shoes). Wear comfortable clothing, but please avoid loose clothing (no scarves, etc.). Long hair needs to be tied back. Women should not wear skirts. Short shorts are not recommended, as they are not comfortable while wearing your harness. Dress for the weather forecasted. We do operate in the rain, so please be prepared. Please do not wear any dangling jewelry. Also, please remove all things from your pockets, such as cell phones and wallets. You don’t want them falling out during the Tour. Cameras are allowed, but must be on a strap. We will provide a secure place to store your valuables, but we prefer that you leave valuables at home or locked in your car.
